In this concert, Pepe Becker (soprano, shruti box), Monica Verburg (flutes) and Nicholas Hancox (viola) draw on their individual and collective extensive experience in the performance of both early music and new music. They juxtapose a variety of old (Medieval and Renaissance) works with contemporary NZ works - for one to three 'voices' - with texts based on the timeless themes of love and loss, and the peace and solace found in elements of Nature...
